Up next- Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Competition

I have decided that next big endeavor will be entering the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition 2013 at the Smithsonian Institute's National Portrait Gallery. The prize is $25,000 and a commission for the permanent collection. The deadline is coming up at the end of this month so I would like some feedback, please. Of the 5 portraits I did for ArtPrize, which do you think is the most compelling- Esther, Bill, Frank, Inez, or Cirila?

  1. Yours was my favorite by far!! Very talented and I loved the stories within the face. Would you consider doing paintings? I am blessed that both My parents are still living at 88 and 89. Please let me know and what it would cost.

    Thank you, Marian

  3. Frank is my favorite. I couldn't stop staring at his eyes. Then when I heard his "story", he was even more compelling!
